Background

MIS was born out of the founders experience as technology managers and their observation that increasing amounts of valuable staff time and resources were being spent on IT issues common to nearly all organizations. Technologies such as firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, Web content filtering, email, remote access, etc. were keeping their staff away from other critical technology issues such as specialty software that were unique to their organizations. They decided to launch the Company with a vision to solve this IT workload problem in a way that was beneficial to all. In the course of developing these solutions it also became apparent that they would do more than offload part of the IT workload, they would also lower that risk associated with maintaining a secure Internet infrastructure.

The resulting Managed Internet Services are a breakthrough approach that leverage the Internet to lower the fundamental cost, time, and effort to deliver IT expertise and services. MIS transparently brings specialized technology across the full lifecycle (implement, support, change and update) with minimal disruption to existing IT operations.
